Storkfort Health and Old Mutual Botswana sign Memorandum Of Understanding
Storkfort Health and Old Mutual Botswana signed a Memorandum of understanding which will see the two organizations work together on projects that identify prevention and early management of Non Communicable Diseases(NCDs).
The event was graced by the minister of Health Honourable Dr Edwin Dikoloti, who applauded the two organizations for their role in the fight against NCDs and their commitment towards promoting employee health and wellness.
Old Mutual Botswana General manager Mr Daniel Matlhagela elaborated that “The partnership between the two organizations has identified one of its focus areas to be prevention and early management of Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs).This partnership will provide free employee wellness service education to corporates and small and medium Enterprises(SMEs) who are Old Mutual Life clients on;
-Health and Wellness
-Mental wellness
-Physical and Nutritional Wellness
Physical and Nutritional Wellness.”
Storkfort Health CEO, Dr Mogwera Mogalakwe further stated that “With the increasing costs of health insurance and the importance of employee health, having a well-thought-out wellness program will assist businesses to lower health care costs, achieve higher productivity and overall contribute to our economy’s growth for the country’s sustainable development”.
