C. Matare has worked in various Government Hospitals and Private clinics both in Botswana and Zimbabwe. Clara has many years of experience in the nursing field, since 1988, she has worked as Nursing Supervisor, Charge Nurse, and Night Superintendent. Ms Matare has been Storkfort Health since 2021 and holds a number of Qualifications:

Diploma in General Nurse/Midwife attained at Chitungwiza School of Nursing in Zimbabwe. Certificate in Family Planning attained at Harare Family planning institute. Certificate in management obtained at ZIPAM, Zimbabwe Institute of Management.

Current functions: Consulting, drug administration, ordering of all materials needed at the clinic etc.

Accomplishments;

1. Managed to persuade BAC student representative staff to put waiting area for the students, which they have already done
2. There was no proper disposal of clinical waste and I also asked them to build one, and  it is now done
3. Mentored a Nurse Aid, who is now doing very well.
4. Sponsoring a child is still ongoing.
